6 mth update on Miss O

Miss O is 6 months old (well, 6.5 but still). Where does the time go? She is so beautiful and the happiest baby I think I have ever been around. Literally NEVER cries. She has the longest, most envious eyelashes (besides T-Bird), a cute little dimple on her left cheek, a button nose, gray/green eyes (I will not get my brown-eyed child, so much for what we learned in Biology), dark brown hair, and rolls on her little thighs. She has been so interested in our food that we started her out with sweet potatoes and bananas and she is not quite sure what to think of those. I'm pretty sure she will go straight to table food....no interest in the baby stuff.

At 6 mth Olive is 16 lb and 24 3/4 in tall. Her head is 43.5 in. She is in the 70%. She wears size 3 diapers and size 9 mth clothes. She enjoys sitting up on her own and reaching for new objects which go staight to the mouth (mostly T's cars), jumping in her bouncer and being kissed on the neck (watch out boys!) She loves to take a bath with her big brother and splash in the tub. She has 4 teeth, all on the bottom and is still nursing**. She LOVES her sippy cup and would rather have that than food. She finally has enough hair on top to stick a bow in. And she went on her very first plane ride to Steamboat Springs, CO.

**sidenote: She has bitten mommy quite a few times lately and I'm trying to figure out how to prevent this. Any suggestions? I yell out when she does it and this startles her enough to cry and not want to nurse anymore. (Ok, so I should probably change the NEVER in the above statement to HARDLY EVER). I'm wondering if it's bc she has been sick and lost interest in eating...yes, we got our first sickness on our ski trip to Steamboat last week (I've decided this is a family tradition). Hopefully she will stop the biting once she gets her appetite back.

All in all it's been an awesome 6 months with this new little life and we couldn't love her anymore. She makes me want to have dozen just like her....wait....who am I kidding?!
